Sliced Smoked Cecina de Leon
Entrepeñas is a family company devoted to the production of authentic Spanish foods in a traditional way for over 60 years and through three generations. Located in Geras de Gordón, a small village in a rural area, north west of the province of Leon, at 1200 meters above sea level. This area enjoys a microclimate characterised by long, dry winters with frequent frosts — the ideal conditions to cure the best Cecina de Leon.
Entrepeñas’ beef is taken from mature cows intensely and carefully selected for their quality, before being cured over 12 months to create beautiful marbling. This long and natural curing process at 1200m altitude gives the meat a slightly smoky flavour, a delightfully tender texture and a perfectly balanced flavour.
To fully appreciate the flavour and aroma, open the pack 15 minutes before eating.
